Al-Qiyamah · 75:12

In context

1. وَجُمِعَ ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ

   75:9And the sun and the moon are joined

2. يَقُولُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ يَوۡمَئِذٍ أَيۡنَ ٱلۡمَفَرُّ

   75:10Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape

3. كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَ

   75:11No! There is no refuge

4. إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوۡمَئِذٍ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقَرُّ

   75:12To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence

5. يُنَبَّؤُاْ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ

   75:13Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back

6. بَلِ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِهِۦ بَصِيرَةٞ

   75:14Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness

7. وَلَوۡ أَلۡقَىٰ مَعَاذِيرَهُۥ

   75:15Even if he presents his excuses
