Al-Qiyamah · 75:15

In context

1. إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوۡمَئِذٍ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقَرُّ

   75:12To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence

2. يُنَبَّؤُاْ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ

   75:13Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back

3. بَلِ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِهِۦ بَصِيرَةٞ

   75:14Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness

4. وَلَوۡ أَلۡقَىٰ مَعَاذِيرَهُۥ

   75:15Even if he presents his excuses

5. لَا تُحَرِّكۡ بِهِۦ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعۡجَلَ بِهِۦٓ

   75:16Move not your tongue with it, [O Muhammad], to hasten with recitation of the Qur'an

6. إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا جَمۡعَهُۥ وَقُرۡءَانَهُۥ

   75:17Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation

7. فَإِذَا قَرَأۡنَٰهُ فَٱتَّبِعۡ قُرۡءَانَهُۥ

   75:18So when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation
