Al-Qiyamah · 75:19

In context

1. لَا تُحَرِّكۡ بِهِۦ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعۡجَلَ بِهِۦٓ

   75:16Move not your tongue with it, [O Muhammad], to hasten with recitation of the Qur'an

2. إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا جَمۡعَهُۥ وَقُرۡءَانَهُۥ

   75:17Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation

3. فَإِذَا قَرَأۡنَٰهُ فَٱتَّبِعۡ قُرۡءَانَهُۥ

   75:18So when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation

4. ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا بَيَانَهُۥ

   75:19Then upon Us is its clarification [to you]

5. كَلَّا بَلۡ تُحِبُّونَ ٱلۡعَاجِلَةَ

   75:20No! But you love the immediate

6. وَتَذَرُونَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ

   75:21And leave the Hereafter

7. وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ نَّاضِرَةٌ

   75:22[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant
