Al-Qiyamah · 75:22

In context

1. ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا بَيَانَهُۥ

   75:19Then upon Us is its clarification [to you]

2. كَلَّا بَلۡ تُحِبُّونَ ٱلۡعَاجِلَةَ

   75:20No! But you love the immediate

3. وَتَذَرُونَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ

   75:21And leave the Hereafter

4. وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ نَّاضِرَةٌ

   75:22[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant

5. إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٞ

   75:23Looking at their Lord

6. وَوُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بَاسِرَةٞ

   75:24And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted

7. تَظُنُّ أَن يُفۡعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٞ

   75:25Expecting that there will be done to them [something] backbreaking
