Al-Qiyamah · 75:24

In context

1. وَتَذَرُونَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ

   75:21And leave the Hereafter

2. وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ نَّاضِرَةٌ

   75:22[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant

3. إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٞ

   75:23Looking at their Lord

4. وَوُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بَاسِرَةٞ

   75:24And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted

5. تَظُنُّ أَن يُفۡعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٞ

   75:25Expecting that there will be done to them [something] backbreaking

6. كَلَّآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلتَّرَاقِيَ

   75:26No! When the soul has reached the collar bones

7. وَقِيلَ مَنۡۜ رَاقٖ

   75:27And it is said, "Who will cure [him]
