Al-Qiyamah · 75:25

In context

1. وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ نَّاضِرَةٌ

   75:22[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant

2. إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٞ

   75:23Looking at their Lord

3. وَوُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بَاسِرَةٞ

   75:24And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted

4. تَظُنُّ أَن يُفۡعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٞ

   75:25Expecting that there will be done to them [something] backbreaking

5. كَلَّآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلتَّرَاقِيَ

   75:26No! When the soul has reached the collar bones

6. وَقِيلَ مَنۡۜ رَاقٖ

   75:27And it is said, "Who will cure [him]

7. وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ ٱلۡفِرَاقُ

   75:28And the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation
