Al-Qiyamah · 75:27

In context

1. وَوُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بَاسِرَةٞ

   75:24And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted

2. تَظُنُّ أَن يُفۡعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٞ

   75:25Expecting that there will be done to them [something] backbreaking

3. كَلَّآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلتَّرَاقِيَ

   75:26No! When the soul has reached the collar bones

4. وَقِيلَ مَنۡۜ رَاقٖ

   75:27And it is said, "Who will cure [him]

5. وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ ٱلۡفِرَاقُ

   75:28And the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation

6. وَٱلۡتَفَّتِ ٱلسَّاقُ بِٱلسَّاقِ

   75:29And the leg is wound about the leg

7. إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوۡمَئِذٍ ٱلۡمَسَاقُ

   75:30To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession
