Al-Qiyamah · 75:31

In context

1. وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ ٱلۡفِرَاقُ

   75:28And the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation

2. وَٱلۡتَفَّتِ ٱلسَّاقُ بِٱلسَّاقِ

   75:29And the leg is wound about the leg

3. إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوۡمَئِذٍ ٱلۡمَسَاقُ

   75:30To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession

4. فَلَا صَدَّقَ وَلَا صَلَّىٰ

   75:31And the disbeliever had not believed, nor had he prayed

5. وَلَٰكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ

   75:32But [instead], he denied and turned away

6. ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ يَتَمَطَّىٰٓ

   75:33And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride]

7. أَوۡلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوۡلَىٰ

   75:34Woe to you, and woe
