Al-Qiyamah · 75:35

In context

1. وَلَٰكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ

   75:32But [instead], he denied and turned away

2. ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ يَتَمَطَّىٰٓ

   75:33And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride]

3. أَوۡلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوۡلَىٰ

   75:34Woe to you, and woe

4. ثُمَّ أَوۡلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوۡلَىٰٓ

   75:35Then woe to you, and woe

5. أَيَحۡسَبُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ أَن يُتۡرَكَ سُدًى

   75:36Does man think that he will be left neglected

6. أَلَمۡ يَكُ نُطۡفَةٗ مِّن مَّنِيّٖ يُمۡنَىٰ

   75:37Had he not been a sperm from semen emitted

7. ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةٗ فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ

   75:38Then he was a clinging clot, and [Allah] created [his form] and proportioned [him]
