Al-Qiyamah · 75:36

In context

1. ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ يَتَمَطَّىٰٓ

   75:33And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride]

2. أَوۡلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوۡلَىٰ

   75:34Woe to you, and woe

3. ثُمَّ أَوۡلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوۡلَىٰٓ

   75:35Then woe to you, and woe

4. أَيَحۡسَبُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ أَن يُتۡرَكَ سُدًى

   75:36Does man think that he will be left neglected

5. أَلَمۡ يَكُ نُطۡفَةٗ مِّن مَّنِيّٖ يُمۡنَىٰ

   75:37Had he not been a sperm from semen emitted

6. ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةٗ فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ

   75:38Then he was a clinging clot, and [Allah] created [his form] and proportioned [him]

7. فَجَعَلَ مِنۡهُ ٱلزَّوۡجَيۡنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰٓ

   75:39And made of him two mates, the male and the female
