Al-Qiyamah · 75:7

In context

1. بَلَىٰ قَٰدِرِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُۥ

   75:4Yes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips

2. بَلۡ يُرِيدُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ لِيَفۡجُرَ أَمَامَهُۥ

   75:5But man desires to continue in sin

3. يَسۡـَٔلُ أَيَّانَ يَوۡمُ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ

   75:6He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection

4. فَإِذَا بَرِقَ ٱلۡبَصَرُ

   75:7So when vision is dazzled

5. وَخَسَفَ ٱلۡقَمَرُ

   75:8And the moon darkens

6. وَجُمِعَ ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ

   75:9And the sun and the moon are joined

7. يَقُولُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ يَوۡمَئِذٍ أَيۡنَ ٱلۡمَفَرُّ

   75:10Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape
