Al-Qiyamah · 75:8

In context

1. بَلۡ يُرِيدُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ لِيَفۡجُرَ أَمَامَهُۥ

   75:5But man desires to continue in sin

2. يَسۡـَٔلُ أَيَّانَ يَوۡمُ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ

   75:6He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection

3. فَإِذَا بَرِقَ ٱلۡبَصَرُ

   75:7So when vision is dazzled

4. وَخَسَفَ ٱلۡقَمَرُ

   75:8And the moon darkens

5. وَجُمِعَ ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ

   75:9And the sun and the moon are joined

6. يَقُولُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ يَوۡمَئِذٍ أَيۡنَ ٱلۡمَفَرُّ

   75:10Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape

7. كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَ

   75:11No! There is no refuge
