Al-Mursalat · 77:28

In context

1. أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ كِفَاتًا

   77:25Have We not made the earth a container

2. أَحۡيَآءٗ وَأَمۡوَٰتٗا

   77:26Of the living and the dead

3. وَجَعَلۡنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِيَ شَٰمِخَٰتٖ وَأَسۡقَيۡنَٰكُم مَّآءٗ فُرَاتٗا

   77:27And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water

4. وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ

   77:28Woe, that Day, to the deniers

5. ٱنطَلِقُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ

   77:29[They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny

6. ٱنطَلِقُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ ظِلّٖ ذِي ثَلَٰثِ شُعَبٖ

   77:30Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns

7. لَّا ظَلِيلٖ وَلَا يُغۡنِي مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ

   77:31[But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame
