An-Naba · 78:16

In context

1. وَجَعَلۡنَا سِرَاجٗا وَهَّاجٗا

   78:13And made [therein] a burning lamp

2. وَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلۡمُعۡصِرَٰتِ مَآءٗ ثَجَّاجٗا

   78:14And sent down, from the rain clouds, pouring water

3. لِّنُخۡرِجَ بِهِۦ حَبّٗا وَنَبَاتٗا

   78:15That We may bring forth thereby grain and vegetation

4. وَجَنَّـٰتٍ أَلۡفَافًا

   78:16And gardens of entwined growth

5. إِنَّ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ كَانَ مِيقَٰتٗا

   78:17Indeed, the Day of Judgement is an appointed time

6. يَوۡمَ يُنفَخُ فِي ٱلصُّورِ فَتَأۡتُونَ أَفۡوَاجٗا

   78:18The Day the Horn is blown and you will come forth in multitudes

7. وَفُتِحَتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ أَبۡوَٰبٗا

   78:19And the heaven is opened and will become gateways
