An-Naba · 78:18

In context

1. لِّنُخۡرِجَ بِهِۦ حَبّٗا وَنَبَاتٗا

   78:15That We may bring forth thereby grain and vegetation

2. وَجَنَّـٰتٍ أَلۡفَافًا

   78:16And gardens of entwined growth

3. إِنَّ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ كَانَ مِيقَٰتٗا

   78:17Indeed, the Day of Judgement is an appointed time

4. يَوۡمَ يُنفَخُ فِي ٱلصُّورِ فَتَأۡتُونَ أَفۡوَاجٗا

   78:18The Day the Horn is blown and you will come forth in multitudes

5. وَفُتِحَتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ أَبۡوَٰبٗا

   78:19And the heaven is opened and will become gateways

6. وَسُيِّرَتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ فَكَانَتۡ سَرَابًا

   78:20And the mountains are removed and will be [but] a mirage

7. إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتۡ مِرۡصَادٗا

   78:21Indeed, Hell has been lying in wait
