An-Naba · 78:20

In context

1. إِنَّ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ كَانَ مِيقَٰتٗا

   78:17Indeed, the Day of Judgement is an appointed time

2. يَوۡمَ يُنفَخُ فِي ٱلصُّورِ فَتَأۡتُونَ أَفۡوَاجٗا

   78:18The Day the Horn is blown and you will come forth in multitudes

3. وَفُتِحَتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ أَبۡوَٰبٗا

   78:19And the heaven is opened and will become gateways

4. وَسُيِّرَتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ فَكَانَتۡ سَرَابًا

   78:20And the mountains are removed and will be [but] a mirage

5. إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتۡ مِرۡصَادٗا

   78:21Indeed, Hell has been lying in wait

6. لِّلطَّـٰغِينَ مَـَٔابٗا

   78:22For the transgressors, a place of return

7. لَّـٰبِثِينَ فِيهَآ أَحۡقَابٗا

   78:23In which they will remain for ages [unending]
