An-Naba · 78:23

In context

1. وَسُيِّرَتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ فَكَانَتۡ سَرَابًا

   78:20And the mountains are removed and will be [but] a mirage

2. إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتۡ مِرۡصَادٗا

   78:21Indeed, Hell has been lying in wait

3. لِّلطَّـٰغِينَ مَـَٔابٗا

   78:22For the transgressors, a place of return

4. لَّـٰبِثِينَ فِيهَآ أَحۡقَابٗا

   78:23In which they will remain for ages [unending]

5. لَّا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا بَرۡدٗا وَلَا شَرَابًا

   78:24They will not taste therein [any] coolness or drink

6. إِلَّا حَمِيمٗا وَغَسَّاقٗا

   78:25Except scalding water and [foul] purulence

7. جَزَآءٗ وِفَاقًا

   78:26An appropriate recompense
