An-Naba · 78:24

In context

1. إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتۡ مِرۡصَادٗا

   78:21Indeed, Hell has been lying in wait

2. لِّلطَّـٰغِينَ مَـَٔابٗا

   78:22For the transgressors, a place of return

3. لَّـٰبِثِينَ فِيهَآ أَحۡقَابٗا

   78:23In which they will remain for ages [unending]

4. لَّا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا بَرۡدٗا وَلَا شَرَابًا

   78:24They will not taste therein [any] coolness or drink

5. إِلَّا حَمِيمٗا وَغَسَّاقٗا

   78:25Except scalding water and [foul] purulence

6. جَزَآءٗ وِفَاقًا

   78:26An appropriate recompense

7. إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ لَا يَرۡجُونَ حِسَابٗا

   78:27Indeed, they were not expecting an account
