An-Naba · 78:29

In context

1. جَزَآءٗ وِفَاقًا

   78:26An appropriate recompense

2. إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ لَا يَرۡجُونَ حِسَابٗا

   78:27Indeed, they were not expecting an account

3. وَكَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا كِذَّابٗا

   78:28And denied Our verses with [emphatic] denial

4. وَكُلَّ شَيۡءٍ أَحۡصَيۡنَٰهُ كِتَٰبٗا

   78:29But all things We have enumerated in writing

5. فَذُوقُواْ فَلَن نَّزِيدَكُمۡ إِلَّا عَذَابًا

   78:30So taste [the penalty], and never will We increase you except in torment

6. إِنَّ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا

   78:31Indeed, for the righteous is attainment

7. حَدَآئِقَ وَأَعۡنَٰبٗا

   78:32Gardens and grapevines
