An-Nazi'at · 79:21

In context

1. فَقُلۡ هَل لَّكَ إِلَىٰٓ أَن تَزَكَّىٰ

   79:18And say to him, 'Would you [be willing to] purify yourself

2. وَأَهۡدِيَكَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَتَخۡشَىٰ

   79:19And let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear [Him]

3. فَأَرَىٰهُ ٱلۡأٓيَةَ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ

   79:20And he showed him the greatest sign

4. فَكَذَّبَ وَعَصَىٰ

   79:21But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed

5. ثُمَّ أَدۡبَرَ يَسۡعَىٰ

   79:22Then he turned his back, striving

6. فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَىٰ

   79:23And he gathered [his people] and called out

7. فَقَالَ أَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمُ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ

   79:24And said, "I am your most exalted lord
