An-Nazi'at · 79:35

In context

1. وَٱلۡجِبَالَ أَرۡسَىٰهَا

   79:32And the mountains He set firmly

2. مَتَٰعٗا لَّكُمۡ وَلِأَنۡعَٰمِكُمۡ

   79:33As provision for you and your grazing livestock

3. فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلطَّآمَّةُ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ

   79:34But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity

4. يَوۡمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا سَعَىٰ

   79:35The Day when man will remember that for which he strove

5. وَبُرِّزَتِ ٱلۡجَحِيمُ لِمَن يَرَىٰ

   79:36And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see

6. فَأَمَّا مَن طَغَىٰ

   79:37So as for he who transgressed

7. وَءَاثَرَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا

   79:38And preferred the life of the world
