An-Nazi'at · 79:39

In context

1. وَبُرِّزَتِ ٱلۡجَحِيمُ لِمَن يَرَىٰ

   79:36And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see

2. فَأَمَّا مَن طَغَىٰ

   79:37So as for he who transgressed

3. وَءَاثَرَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا

   79:38And preferred the life of the world

4. فَإِنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ هِيَ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ

   79:39Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge

5. وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى ٱلنَّفۡسَ عَنِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰ

   79:40But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination

6. فَإِنَّ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ هِيَ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ

   79:41Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge

7. يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرۡسَىٰهَا

   79:42They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival
