An-Nazi'at · 79:41

In context

1. وَءَاثَرَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا

   79:38And preferred the life of the world

2. فَإِنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ هِيَ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ

   79:39Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge

3. وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى ٱلنَّفۡسَ عَنِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰ

   79:40But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination

4. فَإِنَّ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ هِيَ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ

   79:41Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge

5. يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرۡسَىٰهَا

   79:42They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival

6. فِيمَ أَنتَ مِن ذِكۡرَىٰهَآ

   79:43In what [position] are you that you should mention it

7. إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ مُنتَهَىٰهَآ

   79:44To your Lord is its finality
