An-Nazi'at · 79:7

In context

1. فَٱلسَّـٰبِقَٰتِ سَبۡقٗا

   79:4And those who race each other in a race

2. فَٱلۡمُدَبِّرَٰتِ أَمۡرٗا

   79:5And those who arrange [each] matter

3. يَوۡمَ تَرۡجُفُ ٱلرَّاجِفَةُ

   79:6On the Day the blast [of the Horn] will convulse [creation]

4. تَتۡبَعُهَا ٱلرَّادِفَةُ

   79:7There will follow it the subsequent [one]

5. قُلُوبٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ وَاجِفَةٌ

   79:8Hearts, that Day, will tremble

6. أَبۡصَٰرُهَا خَٰشِعَةٞ

   79:9Their eyes humbled

7. يَقُولُونَ أَءِنَّا لَمَرۡدُودُونَ فِي ٱلۡحَافِرَةِ

   79:10They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]
