In context

1. يَوۡمَ تَرۡجُفُ ٱلرَّاجِفَةُ

   79:6On the Day the blast [of the Horn] will convulse [creation]

2. تَتۡبَعُهَا ٱلرَّادِفَةُ

   79:7There will follow it the subsequent [one]

3. قُلُوبٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ وَاجِفَةٌ

   79:8Hearts, that Day, will tremble

4. أَبۡصَٰرُهَا خَٰشِعَةٞ

   79:9Their eyes humbled

5. يَقُولُونَ أَءِنَّا لَمَرۡدُودُونَ فِي ٱلۡحَافِرَةِ

   79:10They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]

6. أَءِذَا كُنَّا عِظَٰمٗا نَّخِرَةٗ

   79:11Even if we should be decayed bones

7. قَالُواْ تِلۡكَ إِذٗا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٞ

   79:12They say, "That, then, would be a losing return
