In context

1. فِي صُحُفٖ مُّكَرَّمَةٖ

   80:13[It is recorded] in honored sheets

2. مَّرۡفُوعَةٖ مُّطَهَّرَةِۭ

   80:14Exalted and purified

3. بِأَيۡدِي سَفَرَةٖ

   80:15[Carried] by the hands of messenger-angels

4. كِرَامِۭ بَرَرَةٖ

   80:16Noble and dutiful

5. قُتِلَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَآ أَكۡفَرَهُۥ

   80:17Cursed is man; how disbelieving is he

6. مِنۡ أَيِّ شَيۡءٍ خَلَقَهُۥ

   80:18From what substance did He create him

7. مِن نُّطۡفَةٍ خَلَقَهُۥ فَقَدَّرَهُۥ

   80:19From a sperm-drop He created him and destined for him
