'Abasa · 80:36

In context

1. فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلصَّآخَّةُ

   80:33But when there comes the Deafening Blast

2. يَوۡمَ يَفِرُّ ٱلۡمَرۡءُ مِنۡ أَخِيهِ

   80:34On the Day a man will flee from his brother

3. وَأُمِّهِۦ وَأَبِيهِ

   80:35And his mother and his father

4. وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَبَنِيهِ

   80:36And his wife and his children

5. لِكُلِّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ شَأۡنٞ يُغۡنِيهِ

   80:37For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him

6. وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ مُّسۡفِرَةٞ

   80:38[Some] faces, that Day, will be bright

7. ضَاحِكَةٞ مُّسۡتَبۡشِرَةٞ

   80:39Laughing, rejoicing at good news
