'Abasa · 80:7

In context

1. أَوۡ يَذَّكَّرُ فَتَنفَعَهُ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰٓ

   80:4Or be reminded and the remembrance would benefit him

2. أَمَّا مَنِ ٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰ

   80:5As for he who thinks himself without need

3. فَأَنتَ لَهُۥ تَصَدَّىٰ

   80:6To him you give attention

4. وَمَا عَلَيۡكَ أَلَّا يَزَّكَّىٰ

   80:7And not upon you [is any blame] if he will not be purified

5. وَأَمَّا مَن جَآءَكَ يَسۡعَىٰ

   80:8But as for he who came to you striving [for knowledge]

6. وَهُوَ يَخۡشَىٰ

   80:9While he fears [Allah]

7. فَأَنتَ عَنۡهُ تَلَهَّىٰ

   80:10From him you are distracted
