'Abasa · 80:8

In context

1. أَمَّا مَنِ ٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰ

   80:5As for he who thinks himself without need

2. فَأَنتَ لَهُۥ تَصَدَّىٰ

   80:6To him you give attention

3. وَمَا عَلَيۡكَ أَلَّا يَزَّكَّىٰ

   80:7And not upon you [is any blame] if he will not be purified

4. وَأَمَّا مَن جَآءَكَ يَسۡعَىٰ

   80:8But as for he who came to you striving [for knowledge]

5. وَهُوَ يَخۡشَىٰ

   80:9While he fears [Allah]

6. فَأَنتَ عَنۡهُ تَلَهَّىٰ

   80:10From him you are distracted

7. كَلَّآ إِنَّهَا تَذۡكِرَةٞ

   80:11No! Indeed, these verses are a reminder
