At-Takwir · 81:16

In context

1. وَإِذَا ٱلۡجَنَّةُ أُزۡلِفَتۡ

   81:13And when Paradise is brought near

2. عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسٞ مَّآ أَحۡضَرَتۡ

   81:14A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]

3. فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِٱلۡخُنَّسِ

   81:15So I swear by the retreating stars

4. ٱلۡجَوَارِ ٱلۡكُنَّسِ

   81:16Those that run [their courses] and disappear

5. وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا عَسۡعَسَ

   81:17And by the night as it closes in

6. وَٱلصُّبۡحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ

   81:18And by the dawn when it breathes

7. إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوۡلُ رَسُولٖ كَرِيمٖ

   81:19[That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger
