Al-Infitar · 82:16

In context

1. إِنَّ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٖ

   82:13Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure

2. وَإِنَّ ٱلۡفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٖ

   82:14And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire

3. يَصۡلَوۡنَهَا يَوۡمَ ٱلدِّينِ

   82:15They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense

4. وَمَا هُمۡ عَنۡهَا بِغَآئِبِينَ

   82:16And never therefrom will they be absent

5. وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ

   82:17And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense

6. ثُمَّ مَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ

   82:18Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense

7. يَوۡمَ لَا تَمۡلِكُ نَفۡسٞ لِّنَفۡسٖ شَيۡـٔٗاۖ وَٱلۡأَمۡرُ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلَّهِ

   82:19It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah
