Al-Mutaffifin · 83:11

In context

1. وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا سِجِّينٞ

   83:8And what can make you know what is sijjeen

2. كِتَٰبٞ مَّرۡقُومٞ

   83:9It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed

3. وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ

   83:10Woe, that Day, to the deniers

4. ٱلَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ

   83:11Who deny the Day of Recompense

5. وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعۡتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ

   83:12And none deny it except every sinful transgressor

6. إِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

   83:13When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples

7. كَلَّاۖ بَلۡۜ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ

   83:14No! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning
