Al-Mutaffifin · 83:18

In context

1. كَلَّآ إِنَّهُمۡ عَن رَّبِّهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّمَحۡجُوبُونَ

   83:15No! Indeed, from their Lord, that Day, they will be partitioned

2. ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمۡ لَصَالُواْ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

   83:16Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire

3. ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ

   83:17Then it will be said [to them], "This is what you used to deny

4. كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارِ لَفِي عِلِّيِّينَ

   83:18No! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in 'illiyyun

5. وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ

   83:19And what can make you know what is 'illiyyun

6. كِتَٰبٞ مَّرۡقُومٞ

   83:20It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed

7. يَشۡهَدُهُ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ

   83:21Which is witnessed by those brought near [to Allah]
