Al-Mutaffifin · 83:19

In context

1. ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمۡ لَصَالُواْ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

   83:16Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire

2. ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ

   83:17Then it will be said [to them], "This is what you used to deny

3. كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارِ لَفِي عِلِّيِّينَ

   83:18No! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in 'illiyyun

4. وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ

   83:19And what can make you know what is 'illiyyun

5. كِتَٰبٞ مَّرۡقُومٞ

   83:20It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed

6. يَشۡهَدُهُ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ

   83:21Which is witnessed by those brought near [to Allah]

7. إِنَّ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ

   83:22Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure
