Al-Mutaffifin · 83:6

In context

1. وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمۡ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمۡ يُخۡسِرُونَ

   83:3But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss

2. أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبۡعُوثُونَ

   83:4Do they not think that they will be resurrected

3. لِيَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٖ

   83:5For a tremendous Day

4. يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   83:6The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds

5. كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلۡفُجَّارِ لَفِي سِجِّينٖ

   83:7No! Indeed, the record of the wicked is in sijjeen

6. وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا سِجِّينٞ

   83:8And what can make you know what is sijjeen

7. كِتَٰبٞ مَّرۡقُومٞ

   83:9It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed
