Al-Mutaffifin · 83:8

In context

1. لِيَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٖ

   83:5For a tremendous Day

2. يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   83:6The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds

3. كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلۡفُجَّارِ لَفِي سِجِّينٖ

   83:7No! Indeed, the record of the wicked is in sijjeen

4. وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا سِجِّينٞ

   83:8And what can make you know what is sijjeen

5. كِتَٰبٞ مَّرۡقُومٞ

   83:9It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed

6. وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ

   83:10Woe, that Day, to the deniers

7. ٱلَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ

   83:11Who deny the Day of Recompense
