Al-Mutaffifin · 83:9

In context

1. يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   83:6The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds

2. كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلۡفُجَّارِ لَفِي سِجِّينٖ

   83:7No! Indeed, the record of the wicked is in sijjeen

3. وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا سِجِّينٞ

   83:8And what can make you know what is sijjeen

4. كِتَٰبٞ مَّرۡقُومٞ

   83:9It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed

5. وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ

   83:10Woe, that Day, to the deniers

6. ٱلَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ

   83:11Who deny the Day of Recompense

7. وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعۡتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ

   83:12And none deny it except every sinful transgressor
