Al-Inshiqaq · 84:13

In context

1. وَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ وَرَآءَ ظَهۡرِهِۦ

   84:10But as for he who is given his record behind his back

2. فَسَوۡفَ يَدۡعُواْ ثُبُورٗا

   84:11He will cry out for destruction

3. وَيَصۡلَىٰ سَعِيرًا

   84:12And [enter to] burn in a Blaze

4. إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فِيٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ مَسۡرُورًا

   84:13Indeed, he had [once] been among his people in happiness

5. إِنَّهُۥ ظَنَّ أَن لَّن يَحُورَ

   84:14Indeed, he had thought he would never return [to Allah]

6. بَلَىٰٓۚ إِنَّ رَبَّهُۥ كَانَ بِهِۦ بَصِيرٗا

   84:15But yes! Indeed, his Lord was ever of him, Seeing

7. فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِٱلشَّفَقِ

   84:16So I swear by the twilight glow
