Al-Inshiqaq · 84:16

In context

1. إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فِيٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ مَسۡرُورًا

   84:13Indeed, he had [once] been among his people in happiness

2. إِنَّهُۥ ظَنَّ أَن لَّن يَحُورَ

   84:14Indeed, he had thought he would never return [to Allah]

3. بَلَىٰٓۚ إِنَّ رَبَّهُۥ كَانَ بِهِۦ بَصِيرٗا

   84:15But yes! Indeed, his Lord was ever of him, Seeing

4. فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِٱلشَّفَقِ

   84:16So I swear by the twilight glow

5. وَٱلَّيۡلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ

   84:17And [by] the night and what it envelops

6. وَٱلۡقَمَرِ إِذَا ٱتَّسَقَ

   84:18And [by] the moon when it becomes full

7. لَتَرۡكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَن طَبَقٖ

   84:19[That] you will surely experience state after state
