Al-Inshiqaq · 84:17

In context

1. إِنَّهُۥ ظَنَّ أَن لَّن يَحُورَ

   84:14Indeed, he had thought he would never return [to Allah]

2. بَلَىٰٓۚ إِنَّ رَبَّهُۥ كَانَ بِهِۦ بَصِيرٗا

   84:15But yes! Indeed, his Lord was ever of him, Seeing

3. فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِٱلشَّفَقِ

   84:16So I swear by the twilight glow

4. وَٱلَّيۡلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ

   84:17And [by] the night and what it envelops

5. وَٱلۡقَمَرِ إِذَا ٱتَّسَقَ

   84:18And [by] the moon when it becomes full

6. لَتَرۡكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَن طَبَقٖ

   84:19[That] you will surely experience state after state

7. فَمَا لَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

   84:20So what is [the matter] with them [that] they do not believe
