Al-Inshiqaq · 84:20

In context

1. وَٱلَّيۡلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ

   84:17And [by] the night and what it envelops

2. وَٱلۡقَمَرِ إِذَا ٱتَّسَقَ

   84:18And [by] the moon when it becomes full

3. لَتَرۡكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَن طَبَقٖ

   84:19[That] you will surely experience state after state

4. فَمَا لَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

   84:20So what is [the matter] with them [that] they do not believe

5. وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ لَا يَسۡجُدُونَۤ۩

   84:21And when the Qur'an is recited to them, they do not prostrate [to Allah]

6. بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُكَذِّبُونَ

   84:22But those who have disbelieved deny

7. وَٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ

   84:23And Allah is most knowing of what they keep within themselves
