Al-Buruj · 85:16

In context

1. إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبۡدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ

   85:13Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats

2. وَهُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلۡوَدُودُ

   85:14And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate

3. ذُو ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡمَجِيدُ

   85:15Honorable Owner of the Throne

4. فَعَّالٞ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ

   85:16Effecter of what He intends

5. هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلۡجُنُودِ

   85:17Has there reached you the story of the soldiers

6. فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَثَمُودَ

   85:18[Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud

7. بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي تَكۡذِيبٖ

   85:19But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial
