Al-Buruj · 85:18

In context

1. ذُو ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡمَجِيدُ

   85:15Honorable Owner of the Throne

2. فَعَّالٞ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ

   85:16Effecter of what He intends

3. هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلۡجُنُودِ

   85:17Has there reached you the story of the soldiers

4. فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَثَمُودَ

   85:18[Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud

5. بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي تَكۡذِيبٖ

   85:19But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial

6. وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِم مُّحِيطُۢ

   85:20While Allah encompasses them from behind

7. بَلۡ هُوَ قُرۡءَانٞ مَّجِيدٞ

   85:21But this is an honored Qur'an
