1. فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَثَمُودَ

   85:18[Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud

2. بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي تَكۡذِيبٖ

   85:19But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial

3. وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِم مُّحِيطُۢ

   85:20While Allah encompasses them from behind

4. بَلۡ هُوَ قُرۡءَانٞ مَّجِيدٞ

   85:21But this is an honored Qur'an

5. فِي لَوۡحٖ مَّحۡفُوظِۭ

   85:22[Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate
