At-Tariq · 86:14

In context

1. وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلرَّجۡعِ

   86:11By the sky which returns [rain]

2. وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ ذَاتِ ٱلصَّدۡعِ

   86:12And [by] the earth which cracks open

3. إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوۡلٞ فَصۡلٞ

   86:13Indeed, the Qur'an is a decisive statement

4. وَمَا هُوَ بِٱلۡهَزۡلِ

   86:14And it is not amusement

5. إِنَّهُمۡ يَكِيدُونَ كَيۡدٗا

   86:15Indeed, they are planning a plan

6. وَأَكِيدُ كَيۡدٗا

   86:16But I am planning a plan

7. فَمَهِّلِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ أَمۡهِلۡهُمۡ رُوَيۡدَۢا

   86:17So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile
