At-Tariq · 86:5

In context

1. وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلطَّارِقُ

   86:2And what can make you know what is the night comer

2. ٱلنَّجۡمُ ٱلثَّاقِبُ

   86:3It is the piercing star

3. إِن كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ لَّمَّا عَلَيۡهَا حَافِظٞ

   86:4There is no soul but that it has over it a protector

4. فَلۡيَنظُرِ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ

   86:5So let man observe from what he was created

5. خُلِقَ مِن مَّآءٖ دَافِقٖ

   86:6He was created from a fluid, ejected

6. يَخۡرُجُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِ ٱلصُّلۡبِ وَٱلتَّرَآئِبِ

   86:7Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs

7. إِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَجۡعِهِۦ لَقَادِرٞ

   86:8Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able
