Al-A'la · 87:18

In context

1. وَذَكَرَ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ

   87:15And mentions the name of his Lord and prays

2. بَلۡ تُؤۡثِرُونَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا

   87:16But you prefer the worldly life

3. وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ خَيۡرٞ وَأَبۡقَىٰٓ

   87:17While the Hereafter is better and more enduring

4. إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِي ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ

   87:18Indeed, this is in the former scriptures

5. صُحُفِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ

   87:19The scriptures of Abraham and Moses
