Al-Balad · 90:16

In context

1. فَكُّ رَقَبَةٍ

   90:13It is the freeing of a slave

2. أَوۡ إِطۡعَٰمٞ فِي يَوۡمٖ ذِي مَسۡغَبَةٖ

   90:14Or feeding on a day of severe hunger

3. يَتِيمٗا ذَا مَقۡرَبَةٍ

   90:15An orphan of near relationship

4. أَوۡ مِسۡكِينٗا ذَا مَتۡرَبَةٖ

   90:16Or a needy person in misery

5. ثُمَّ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلۡمَرۡحَمَةِ

   90:17And then being among those who believed and advised one another to patience and advised one another to compassion

6. أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ

   90:18Those are the companions of the right

7. وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا هُمۡ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ

   90:19But they who disbelieved in Our signs - those are the companions of the left
