Al-Balad · 90:17

In context

1. أَوۡ إِطۡعَٰمٞ فِي يَوۡمٖ ذِي مَسۡغَبَةٖ

   90:14Or feeding on a day of severe hunger

2. يَتِيمٗا ذَا مَقۡرَبَةٍ

   90:15An orphan of near relationship

3. أَوۡ مِسۡكِينٗا ذَا مَتۡرَبَةٖ

   90:16Or a needy person in misery

4. ثُمَّ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلۡمَرۡحَمَةِ

   90:17And then being among those who believed and advised one another to patience and advised one another to compassion

5. أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ

   90:18Those are the companions of the right

6. وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا هُمۡ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ

   90:19But they who disbelieved in Our signs - those are the companions of the left

7. عَلَيۡهِمۡ نَارٞ مُّؤۡصَدَةُۢ

   90:20Over them will be fire closed in
