Al-Balad · 90:6

In context

1. وَوَالِدٖ وَمَا وَلَدَ

   90:3And [by] the father and that which was born [of him]

2. لَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ فِي كَبَدٍ

   90:4We have certainly created man into hardship

3. أَيَحۡسَبُ أَن لَّن يَقۡدِرَ عَلَيۡهِ أَحَدٞ

   90:5Does he think that never will anyone overcome him

4. يَقُولُ أَهۡلَكۡتُ مَالٗا لُّبَدًا

   90:6He says, "I have spent wealth in abundance

5. أَيَحۡسَبُ أَن لَّمۡ يَرَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌ

   90:7Does he think that no one has seen him

6. أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَل لَّهُۥ عَيۡنَيۡنِ

   90:8Have We not made for him two eyes

7. وَلِسَانٗا وَشَفَتَيۡنِ

   90:9And a tongue and two lips
